1. Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account (name, email address, profile details) and information generated by your use of the app (matches, groups, league and tournament data, match statistics, and attendance records).

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to operate KickSplit — displaying your profile, organising your groups and matches, computing league standings, and generating team balance suggestions. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data storage and transfers

KickSplit is operated from the Kingdom of Bahrain. Your data may be stored and processed on servers hosted outside Bahrain, including within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and the European Union, in accordance with applicable data protection standards.

4. Legal basis and compliance

We process your personal data in compliance with the Kingdom of Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL — Law No. 30 of 2018) and any implementing regulations issued by the Personal Data Protection Authority (PDPA). Where our services extend to other GCC countries, we also respect applicable local privacy requirements.

5. Third-party authentication

If you sign in using a third-party provider (e.g. Google or Apple), we receive only the information that provider shares with us — typically your name and email address. We do not store your third-party account password.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under the Bahrain PDPL, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To delete your account and all associated data, use the Delete Account option in the app's Profile settings. For other requests, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies and sessions

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

KickSplit is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has registered, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Changes will be posted in-app and on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of KickSplit after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
